Month 2 is over of my no spend year. I have yet to cheat on my set RULES but we did have a setback.
This last month we did a bathroom renovation. We had set aside money in 2020 for this renovation. We did have a small hiccup and had to spend more that we intended. We had to cash flow $600 extra for this renovation project.
Here is my update on what I sold. I made $40 off of Poshmark by selling some clothes. I sold 8 pieces of my clothing and a few baby items. I go through my clothes once a season and list them on places like Poshmark. I try and post a couple items a week not all at once. I find that posting this way gets me more sales by showing the app that I am an active user and seller.
Now, how did I do on my no Amazon shopping rule? I am 2 for 2 on not spending any money on Amazon. Now is the part of the post where I reflect on last years spending on Amazon. Here is what I spent on Amazon in 2020 for a total of $188.26.

- Safety razors and accessories
- Lotion
- Silicone wedding ring. My husband broke his.
- Dance leotard
- Dry Pinto Beans
This February we added $100 to savings and a $100 principal payment to our mortgage. In 2020 I added $0 to savings and $0 to our mortgage principal.
We sent $417.33 to index fund investing. Between 401k and index fund investing this month we invested 28% of our income. This is less than my January results but with having to cash flow part of our renovation I am still ecstatic and proud of our progress!
